📡 Station & Technical Gear
Whether on shortwave or satellite, I rely on a versatile setup to stay connected globally.
My main station features the Icom IC-7300 for high-performance HF operations, supported by an Ameritron ATR-30.
For VHF/UHF and satellite work, I utilize the IC-9700 and the portable IC-705 with a dedicated QO-100 Groundstation.
👨🚒 Professional Life & Public Service
In my professional life, I work as an Electrician and Facility Manager for the District Administration, ensuring the technical integrity of our public infrastructure. But my true calling is serving the community.
As the Deputy Fire Chief of the Wunsiedel Volunteer Fire Department, I lead our active forces during critical operations.
This commitment to life-saving continues in my role as a Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-I/85) on the ambulance.
My journey into public service and radio began at the early age of 4, following the inspiring footsteps of my grandfather.

🙏 In Memory of my Mentors
I would not be the operator I am today without the guidance of my friends who are now Silent Keys:Adi (DO3NG †), Joe (DM7KW †), and Siggi (DL6HE †).
Special thanks to my good friends Ralf (DL9NDP) and Jörg (DG1NAU).
